MRSD draft Bullying Policy update available for public comment
Monomoy Regional School District is currently in the process of reviewing its Bullying Prevention and Intervention Policy. The draft policy can be found here.
One of the requirements of this process is to seek feedback and input from a variety of stakeholders including staff, students, parents, community members, and partner organizations.
After reviewing the draft policy, you can provide comments using this public comment survey link or you can contact a member of the MRSC Policy Subcommittee: Tina Games, Jackie Long, Sharon Stout.
The School Committee Policy Sub Committee will hold a public hearing on April 5, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. to provide an additional opportunity for public comment. Click here for the meeting link.
As required by M.G.L. c. 71, § 37O, the District will develop the plan in consultation with teachers, school staff, professional support personnel, school volunteers, administrators, community representatives, local law enforcement agencies, students, parents, and guardians. Consultation will include public notice and a public comment period before the Plan is adopted by the School Committee. All interested parties will be invited to review the policy by either attending scheduled policy sub-committee meetings, input through email, or through a survey mechanism.
