Monomoy Integrated Preschool now free for all students 

March 1, 2023 -- The Monomoy Regional School Committee recently voted to offer its Integrated Preschool program free of tuition for all students. The Monomoy Integrated Preschool supports children with disabilities and who have an Individual Educational Program alongside more typically developing students called community friends. Previously, students admitted as community friends were charged tuition for the program. Starting with the 2023-2024 school year, this program is free for all students.

"This change will support equity in our preschool, increase the vitality of the program, and help meet the needs of families in our community," said Melissa Maguire, Monomoy's Director of Student Services.

On Wednesday, March 15, 2023, and Thursday, March 16, 2023, Monomoy Regional School District will hold preschool screenings for families who would like to enroll their 3- or 4-year-old child as a community friend in Monomoy’s Integrated Preschool program for the 2023-2024 school year. Children who will be age 3 or 4 before 9/1/23 are eligible to enroll. The screenings for community friends are by appointment only. Please call (508) 430-7216 to schedule a screening appointment, or if you are concerned about your child’s development.
