Monomoy Regional School District announces limited school choice openings for 2021-2022 school year

Monomoy Regional School District has announced that a limited number of school choice spots are available for the 2021-2022 school year for students residing in towns other than Harwich and Chatham. Interested families can download an application form at www.monomoy.edu/schoolchoice and return it to the Monomoy Regional School District Central Office at 425 Crowell Road, Chatham, MA 02633, email it to ltambolleo@monomoy.edu or fax it to 508-945-5133.

All applications for school choice must be received at the MRSD Central Office by 4 PM on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, to be eligible.  

Applications submitted without all required documents will be deemed incomplete and not forwarded for consideration. Applications received after the March 31, 2021, deadline will be considered only as class space is available. Please note that the school choice openings are not guaranteed and may be closed when grade levels reach capacity.

Chatham Elementary School:

If the number of applicants exceeds the school choice spots available, a lottery for the open school choice seats will be conducted on Thursday, April 1, 2021. Families who have submitted applications will be notified of the results of the lottery on April 1 via email. Those families not receiving a spot via the lottery will be placed on a waiting list. Preference will be given -- in order -- to siblings, intra-district students, and staff children prior to the need for a lottery.
