Books are one of our oldest information and entertainment sources and, like most librarians, I love to read! In my down time, you will find me reading historical fiction, fantasy, realistic fiction and non-fiction. If I'm not reading, I'm probably hiking or paddling around in the pond. I live in Harwich with my husband, kids and two crazy dogs. 

Although I love to read and really enjoy matching readers with books, library studies aren't just book focused. As the Library Media Specialist at Monomoy Regional Middle School, I am excited to share both my knowledge and interest in how we search for, evaluate, organize and use a wide variety of information resources. In a world where we have an abundance of information at our fingertips, it is important to help our students learn how to sift through and find the best source for their query.
