Welcome! I am thrilled to be joining the amazing team of teachers at Chatham Elementary School. I may be new to Monomoy, but I'm not new to teaching. In my tenure, I've taught kindergarten, first grade, and third grade. Most recently, I was a library media specialist at a K-5 school. I am passionate about books and reading. My goal is to help all of my students see themselves as readers and develop a life-long love of reading.

My family and I moved to Cape Cod from Connecticut last summer. My children attend Monomoy Public Schools. In my spare time. I love to read, go to the beach, ski, and cheer for the best team in baseball, the Boston Red Sox. In addition, I am also a writer. I'm the author of several books for children, including fiction picture books, nonfiction picture books, chapter books, and leveled readers. I hope to use my experiences as a writer to help get my students even more excited about reading.
