Monomoy Regional School District believes that our volunteers provide priceless resources to our district and add valuable educational experiences for our students. Without the help of volunteers, many worthwhile opportunities would not be possible. We thank our volunteers for giving their time and support to these important activities.

Volunteer Expectations

• Dependability: Children and staff look forward to the volunteer’s commitment to report at an expected time.
• Professionalism: The volunteer is a role model for children in attitude, manner, and behavior.
• Confidentiality: The volunteer must respect the confidentiality of all sensitive/personal information.
• Communication: The success of the program depends on effective communication.

PLEASE NOTE: To protect the safety of our students and staff, all volunteers must complete a CORI form and submit to the district for processing. You will need to bring your driver's license, which must be photocopied and attached to the form. If it has been more than two years since you last submitted a CORI form, please re-submit. Certain volunteer positions may also require fingerprinting. Anyone who is regularly working with students in our district, including teachers, staff, substitutes, coaches, and bus drivers, as well as any volunteers working alone or one-on-one with students must be fingerprinted in addition to undergoing a CORI check.
