My name is Dawn King and this is my 33rd year in the Monomoy School District.  I am a native Cape Codder. My great-grandmother, Elizabeth Frizzell, was born and raised in Dennis and her husband, Edmund Ryder in Chatham. I love the Cape and can't think of another place that I'd rather be!  I've recently begun researching my genealogy.  I have many generations of the Ryder family in Chatham in my tree.

I am a graduate of Bridgewater State University. I have wanted to be a teacher ever since I was a little girl and would play school with my siblings. I have two children, a daughter with children of her own and a son who is a 2017 graduate of Monomoy High School. I have five grandchildren that live locally.
