Mrs. Gifford teaches 7th grade science and EV3 robotics at MRMS. After 12 years teaching in the elementary grades, she decided to pursue her passion for science and earned her certifications in science education. This is her 8th year teaching 7th grade. Mrs. Gifford loves all areas of science, but Earth and space science are always at the forefront. She has attended training programs through NASA's National Education Workshop and Honeywell Educators at Space Academy. Mrs. Gifford enjoys teaching teachers and serves as the Barnstable County Director for the Massachusetts Association of Science Teachers. She was selected as Barnstable County Science Teacher of the Year in 2014. When she isn't working, she can be found exploring Cape Cod with her husband and sons, Ben and Jack, and her big poodle, Zoe.
